I feel this year is all about change. Energy changing around nature and us. 2020 is a good year for people to understand that they need to change and help others.
So much has happened in the last 20 years with technology and the way people have become so materialistic and selfish.
I get told by spirit that we’re all here to help each other. People like me with what I do are here to show people how to be more calm and how to have less stress in their lives. We can help little by little with the things we do – we can help mother nature.
People stay in their boxes and don’t come out to see that there are lovely places to go in nature. Whether it’s in the woods, up in the hills or by the sea, breathing in the fresh air is one way you could start changing.
You can also change through meditation and mindfulness – it helps stress.
Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present and aware of where we are and what we’re doing and not overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. Mindfulness is something we all naturally possess. We just have to use it and we can do that by practicing on a weekly or daily basis or in a group doing meditation.
The goal of mindfulness is to wake up to the inner workings of our mental, emotional and physical processes. To practice mindfulness is to pause and breathe before rushing into things and pay attention to the present moment without judgement.
When you get carried away in the thoughts of everyday life, just practice returning again and again to the present moment. This is easier said than done so don’t judge yourself, just go back to pausing and breathe.
Mindfulness is recognising when your mind has wandered off and gently bringing it back. You can do this at home, while sitting in the car or anywhere you can take a minute of your day to focus your mind to the present moment.
This helps you have less stress and makes you feel more calm in your day which then helps you with your everyday life.
There’s other steps that you can take to change your life. The way you think – more positive thoughts and not negative ones. You can talk to your spirit guides or your angels and let them into your lives and learn how to communicate with them.
They are around us all the time waiting for us to talk to them so they can help you with positive things and help you to not be negative in your life all the time.
You might like to just start with slowing down. Taking time out to focus on yourself and use simple things to bring calm and harmony into your life. It could be a nice bubble bath, going out with your friends or things that make you feel good but over time you have become too busy for.
It’s such a shame that people are so lost in themselves that they forget about other people around them – family for one.
We all have to start somewhere in making changes in our life. It could be that you need to spend more time with your loved ones, doing things with them instead of always working.
Stop being on your phones and start doing things together like we all did before mobile phones came along.
When I go out for a meal with somebody and we’re sitting there chatting, you can look around and everybody is on their mobile phones. There is no conversation anymore, no enjoyment of going out.
If you go out just to be on your phone you might as well stay home. You’re not enjoying everything that is around you and it is such a shame.
If everybody makes just one small change to make themselves feel better, it has a knock on effect to the people around you. This will also extend to those people around them. This goes on and on and everybody is then making everyone else feel better about themselves.
Life is so much better when we are all positive and to live in a positive world would be amazing. So it goes back to doing something small – start changing your life around and make 2020 a positive and energy shifting year!
